Innovation Week (Ambientes Inteligentes)

Dear Sirs:

Hereby, I would like to thank and congratulate the organizers for the hard and also great work done during the Innovation Week with the Rally Tecnológico.

The activity was very well organized and all the companies that took part was very interesting. Some of them was Kyocera, PANDA, Microsoft, 3M, HP, REVA, Ericsson, etc.

During the Rally, the corporations realized different activities to present their new products as for example, conferences, they gave informative brochures, etc.

It was very important to realize that many of these companies are concerned to improve the environment and also, are working very hard to save our planet. One of my favorite stands was where there was the electric car, REVA, I really find it very functional and also, practical. Furthermore is friendly with the environment, however; the price is very high.

It was my total pleasure to participate in this activity and I think it is very important that students of ULACIT have the opportunity to know about reputable companies with innovations in technology as well as, their products.

Global Warming

 

GLOBAL WARMING

Scientists have spent decades figuring out what is causing global warming. They have observed the natural cycles and events that are known to affect the climate. Some of the consequences that are affecting our planet are for example, warmer temperatures, droughts, more intense storms and also more dangerous and powerful hurricanes; as well as melting glaciers, etc.

Everyone can do something to reduce gas emissions greenhouse and the consequences of global warming. Among other things, we must reduce the consumption of electrical energy, use bulbs fluorescent and use recycled paper, along with; recycle aluminum containers, plastic and glass as well as cardboard and paper.

We have to create awareness among others about the importance of taking action to reduce the impact of global warming taking care for the environment and our planet; therefore, we must begin in our own homes.

Domestic Violence

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Domestic violence is very common around the world. There is no choice of social classes or gender because not only women can suffer this kind of abuse at home; there are also cases of battered or attacked men. However, are not very common and in most of those cases they feel very ashamed to be assaulted by their women and decide don’t said a word to anyone.

We must not think that the aggression should be exclusively with blows; there is also the verbal, along with, the psychological aggression wretched incredibly affecting the person who suffers. The person who is assaulted feels a huge fear of their attacker and they prefer to remain silent before seeking help.

In our country there are many cases of domestic violence, where women are the principal assaulted, and are aware of all that they have no protection from the government or the police; they should change the laws to protect and also help the battered people and their families.
